living with EARTH

I’m not an environmentalist. Trust me, I’m not. But I have to admit I’m not those idiots who don’t care about our environment, or to be specific our earth at all. I always threw away my own rubbish into the dustbin nearby, I don’t throw away any ice cream plastic when I’m finished one, NO. I try to educate myself that throwing rubbish around is doing no good, and I always keep in mind that karma is boomerang. Damn. Well, let’s face it, doesn’t threw away rubbish is not an adequate process to help our mother earth, maybe one person (like me.hehe) does not, but elsewhere in the globe, maybe hundreds are doing those. Every day, we are piling up tonnes of our own rubbish until as big as a mountain. Guess, if we, the citizens of the earth are cooperating with the whole nations, we may be able to collect rubbish as higher than the Mount Everest! Wow, what a magnificent performance!
Face it; we are burying our self behind the trash that we produce. We are digging our own grave without tombs in silence. Maybe in the future, due to lack of fine soil, people might bury the dead under the piles of empty cans! Haha sounds funny is it? But, it is not impossible; we spoil lots of soils to fulfil our needs to get rid of our trashes. Day by day, millions of hectors were used to accommodate our needs. We felt at ease when we saw those trashes were gone from our sight when they come to collect our dustbin in the front lawn. We don’t a give a damn, what will happen to them, or the worse we ever think of their ‘sacred contributions’ to us. Yes, thanks to us, they slowly produce METHANE in those landfills. METHANE or in Bahasa, GAS METANA is one of contributors to global warming. As you notice, the weather now is getting irritated day by day. The heat is so intense, till you avoid yourself trying to walk under the shining sun. Nearly every day, the temperature is nearly approaching until 31⁰C. Even, at the 6pm, where the weather should be cooling down, is still hot. We are living in an oven that we created our self.
Sometimes I keep thinking. What we have done? What we have done to earth?. We are killing her. Since the industry revolution started, we don’t care about the earth we living in. We only love to see the profit that we counting in everyday. We cut down the trees without give no effort to replace them; we greedily searching for in depth treasures like oil, and spoil the seas. We threw away rubbish with no efforts to recycle them, we freely let out those hazardous gases to air and pollute them...sadly, we tend to forget, We are sharing this precious little planet with other creatures like animals, and yet, we betrayed them and violate our responbility and make them to share the price that we have done. A verse in al-Quran have told us when Allah decides to create human to be place in the earth, all the angels are very anxious as they fear that humans will only spoil the earth and ruin it, but Allah quickly added, as He knows more than they do. If we look today, guess the angel’s predictions are true after all, we ruin the earth, but i believe that, everything happens for a reason, as Allah knows more than us.
The Earth is devastated. We may look forward to the north, watching those ice caps melting in the dead of the night; it’s a sign, for us to think about.
Thanks the HOME documentary, it helps me realises, you don’t have to declare yourself an environmentalist so you can bragged about it, or you don’t have to own lots of money to buy hybrid cars like you care to reduce carbon dioxide cause you just want to flaunt it to those who can’t, or you have to emits lots of carbon dioxide from your cars just to join an environmental rally or maybe across the globe just to raise publicity, NO. It’s all in you, It’s only you, whether you decide to do or not.
